Advice on handling a move with 50/50 custody

Hey guys :arrows_counterclockwise: I am relocating soon and have 50/50 custody of my kids. :grimacing: How did you manage the move and maintain the custody balance? Any personal stories or advice on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated! :star2::house_with_garden:

Because custody is often under the jurisdiction of the state that issued the custody order, you would need to go to court and modify the custody order to reflect the out-of-state migration. This could be an opportunity to change custody status as well. The custodial parent may need to present strong grounds for moving out of state.
