I’ve been having some trouble with my employer when it comes to bookings. They’re saying it’s not retaliation, but I feel like I’m getting fewer bookings after a recent meeting where I brought up my breaks. They say bookings are down 30% for everyone. IDK, it just feels off. Anyone else been in a similar spot?
That sounds kinda suspicious to me, especially if they can’t give you a solid reason for the fewer bookings. Have you tried asking to see the full schedule?

Yeah, I can see the schedule from my side and it looks pretty even, but I’m often the last one to fill up.
@Wyn
Hmmm, that definitely makes it harder to prove. Have you thought about just looking for another place to work?
Do they have a concrete method for booking treatments? Like, is there a clear process they follow?

Nope, they couldn’t give me a concrete method at all. They just say bookings are down.
@Wyn
Sounds fishy… you could always ask them to show you their booking system to be sure it’s fair.
FYI, it’s actually legal not to have a specific method for bookings. So technically, they’re not breaking any laws.

Oh, I didn’t know that! Thanks for the heads-up.
IDK about you, but I’d be looking for another job if they’re acting weird with your schedule. You don’t need that stress!

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about that. Might be time to move on.
Btw, if you’re thinking about leaving a review, just make sure you’re allowed to. Sometimes there are weird rules about that.

I don’t have a contract stopping me, so I think I’m good!
