I bought a used car from a dealership and everything seemed fine at first, but after a month, I had to replace the front passenger tire—shredded on the inside edge. Replaced it, but then the driver side front tire did the same. Just kept replacing them until August when the alignment shop said the frame was bent. They couldn’t align it properly and did a ‘toe-in’ to make it less bad. Now the tires are still wearing out super fast. I called the dealership about my warranty, but it doesn’t cover the frame, of course… anyone dealt with this before?
Ugh, that’s frustrating. I had a similar issue with my car. Did they say if there’s a way to fix the frame or if it’s just going to keep causing issues?

They didn’t really offer a solution other than ‘just deal with it.’ Feels like they were just trying to brush it off.
Oh man, I’d be so mad. I would definitely contact a lawyer if I were you, see if they can help with the warranty situation.

Yeah, I’m considering it. I feel like they might’ve known about the damage and didn’t say anything.
This kinda thing makes me nervous about buying used cars, even from dealerships. You’d think they would be more upfront about this stuff.

I know, right? They made it sound like they did all these inspections, but clearly they missed some major stuff.
I would totally send them a letter or get legal help. They should be held accountable for selling you a car with a bent frame.

I’m thinking of doing that. I’m just not sure where to start… Should I address it to someone specific at the dealership?
I’ve heard of people dealing with similar issues. Honestly, you might need to get a second opinion on the frame damage, just to be sure. Maybe another shop could tell you if it’s fixable.

Good idea, I’ll look into that. I just don’t want to keep throwing money at a car that’s basically a lemon.
