Anyone know how to access an old Texas driver's license number for a background check?

Good morning! I need help accessing an old driver license number from Texas for a background check. It’s been within the last three years, but I can’t find any records of it. Anyone know how I can get that info?

Have you tried contacting the Texas DMV? They might be able to help you get that info back. I know they can look up old records for you.

Yeah, the DMV is usually the best place for stuff like this. You can probably request it online or set up an appointment. Maybe try their website?

Thanks! I didn’t think of the website. I’ll check it out for sure!

If you don’t have the old license, you might also be able to request a replacement and they’ll give you the number. It’s worth a shot if you’re stuck.

That’s a good idea. I’ll try that if nothing else works. Appreciate it!

What about checking any old emails or documents? Maybe you used it for something official before, like a lease or job application?

I did try searching my email, but nothing came up. I’ll keep looking, though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Could also check if it’s linked to any online accounts or apps you’ve used. I know some people have linked their license info to things like insurance or registration apps.

I didn’t think of that, but I don’t think I linked it anywhere. I’ll double-check though!

Another option might be to just visit your local DMV office in person. They can pull up old records pretty quickly and give you the number.

Yeah, I’ll probably do that. Seems like the quickest option. Thanks for the help!
