Hey, I need advice on finding a lawyer. I’m dealing with a legal issue and IDK where to start. Any tips on where to look or how to make sure they’re legit? Would appreciate any help!

Yeah, most state bar associations have websites where you can search for lawyers by name or specialty.

Totally legit! Just double-check the lawyer’s standing with the state bar after you find one there.

If they refuse to show their license or give you their bar number, that’s a huge red flag.
