Hey everyone, I’m planning to renew my driver’s license in 2025, and I’ve heard about this CDE Questionnaire you need to take. It’s for the renewal process, and I was wondering if anyone here has done it? What should I expect, and how do I prepare for it? Any tips would be awesome!
Yeah, I’ve done it. It’s not too bad. The test is 25 questions, and you need to get at least 20 right to pass.

Oh cool, thanks! Is there a time limit for the test? I’d rather take it slow if I can.

No time limit, so take your time! Just read the questions carefully, and you’ll be fine.
The CDE exam is all about traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices. Did you check out the practice tests online yet?

Not yet, but I’ll look into those. Are they similar to the actual test?

Pretty much, yeah. They help you get familiar with the questions. Definitely worth checking out.
You can take the test through the LTO portal. It’s super convenient since you don’t have to go in person.

Nice! I didn’t know that. Do you need any special account or something to access it?

Just register on the LTO site, and you’ll be good to go. They guide you step-by-step.
FYI, the LTO provides a driver’s manual. It’s a great way to brush up on the rules before taking the test.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll grab a copy. Does it have sample questions too?

Yep, it covers everything. You’ll feel more confident after going through it.
Make sure to aim for 80% or higher to pass. If you miss a few, no worries—you can retake it.

Oh, I didn’t know you could retake it. That’s a relief, lol.

Yeah, no pressure. You got this!
