It’s a letter from the doctor confirming that the condition isn’t an issue for travel. Basically just to prove it’s stable enough for the trip. It doesn’t need to be anything too complicated.
I’ve had to do this before with travel insurance, and they will sometimes limit coverage if the condition isn’t stable. You should definitely call the provider to clarify the terms, but getting that doctor’s letter is key!

I’d recommend looking at Allianz or AIG. They tend to be pretty good with conditions like those. But yeah, just call them and explain the situation, they’ll guide you through the process.
