Hey everyone! I’ve got a couple of accidents on my record, one in April and another in July, and I’m wondering if there’s any way to remove them from my driver’s license? I know it’s probably a long shot, but thought I’d ask. Anyone have experience with this or know what I can do?
I don’t think you can remove them unless the info is false. Like if there’s an error in the reports. I had something similar and was told they stay on for a few years.
It sucks, but those records will usually stay for a few years. If it helps, I think in Kansas it’s 3 years before stuff like that falls off your record.
What about insurance? Will they raise my premium because of these accidents?
I had a police report from an accident once, and it didn’t affect my criminal record. Just your driving record, FYI.
To check your driving record, you’ll have to go through the DMV or whatever agency handles it in your state. They won’t let anyone else access it for you.
