My car was totaled and I’m wondering if I can transfer my tag to a new car I buy? I’m in FL. I’m still looking and the current reg is good until 02/12/2026.

You can transfer the tag as long as your current registration is still good, like yours is. No need to rush getting the car, just transfer the tag once you’ve bought it.

Nope, they won’t suspend your license. You just can’t drive without insurance. But as long as you’re not on the road, you’re fine.

Yep, no worries about your license as long as you’re not driving without insurance. Just make sure you get it sorted once you buy the car.
