Hello, would like to know whether I can get a restraining order. My ex and I split up and blocked each other on all social media after I found out he was having an affair. I was very clear that I wanted no communication.

He visited my flat this week and, despite my explicit desire that we not communicate, left a 60-page handwritten letter with my roommate. The letter uses foul language regarding my friends who exposed him and begs to visit me several times.

He knows where I live, thus his behavior worries me, which is why I am afraid. I do not feel safe, even though he has not made any physical threats. Is a restraining order necessary based on this? If not, ought I to unblock him and tell him to get off my case?
