So, I got my new Driver’s License and temporary registration, but the town listed on both of them is wrong. Anyone know how I can get this fixed? I’ve tried calling the DMV a few times, but no luck. Any suggestions?
That sucks! First, have you contacted the DMV directly? You’ll likely need to provide them with the correct town info and your name/card number to fix it. Hopefully, they respond soon.

Yeah, I’ve tried calling like 3 times. Waited forever and still no answer… Guess I’ll try again later.

Ugh, sounds frustrating. Maybe try checking their website or social media for other ways to get in touch?
You’ll probably need to send them some ID with the correct details on it. It’s kind of a pain, but they should be able to correct it once they have everything.

Oh okay, good to know. Do you think I can just take a picture of my ID and send it to them?

Yeah, that should work. Just make sure it’s a clear copy. They’ll need to see everything clearly to make the change.
This happened to me before! Just make sure you have all the info they need, like your full name and card number. Once they get that, they should be able to fix it for you.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll make sure I have everything ready for when they finally pick up.
Yeah, it’s probably going to take a bit of back-and-forth. If you’ve got the correct info ready, it should be easy for them to update it though. Just keep following up.

Lol, I’ll try my best not to lose patience. Hopefully, they’ll fix it quickly once they actually pick up!
Sounds like they just need some official docs to make the change. Don’t stress too much—once you get through to them, it should be easy to fix.

Thanks! I feel a little better knowing it’s something that can be easily fixed once they get the right info. Just need them to answer the phone lol.
