How can I renew my driver's license at the Long Beach DMV?

I need to get a DMV appointment to renew my driver’s license in Long Beach, California. It’s been a while, and I’m 81, so not exactly the most tech-savvy when it comes to these appointments. Anyone know how I can do this online or by phone? I’m a bit lost here…

Oh, you can easily schedule online. Just go to the California DMV website and pick your appointment type. Here’s the link: Schedule an Appointment - California DMV- California DMV. Hope that helps!

I think you can also call them, but online is usually faster. Just make sure you have all your details ready like your license number and DOB.

Yeah, exactly. It’s pretty simple once you have everything. Just don’t forget to select the right service, like ‘renewal,’ or it could mess things up lol.

I’d recommend just making an appointment online for Long Beach DMV. It saves time. I had to do it for my mom last month, and it was a breeze.

Yeah, I did the same for my grandma a few months ago. It really does save time. You can even do it from your phone!

I’ve been trying to get an appointment too. It’s super easy online, but make sure you have your license number and birthdate ready when you book.

Got it, thanks! I’ll grab that info now. Appreciate the help!

Yeah, online’s definitely the way to go. I had some issues trying to call in. The website works much better, lol.

Exactly! Calling is so old school, and sometimes you get stuck on hold forever. The website’s so much faster.

I think you can also check the DMV’s site for any updates about in-person services too. Some offices still require appointments for certain services.

Good point. I’ll double-check the site to see if there are any special rules in Long Beach.
