I just noticed that the last number in my address on my driver’s license is wrong. Does anyone know how to fix that? I’m in Texas. Any help would be appreciated!
You can fix it online through the Texas DPS website if your license is eligible for online updates. Just look for the ‘Change Address’ section.

Oh cool, I didn’t even know you could do that online! Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah, if online isn’t an option, you can always go to a DPS office in person. Just bring your current license and proof of the correct address (like a utility bill).

Got it! Thanks. I’ll check if the online option works first.
Make sure to check if you need to renew your license soon, too. Sometimes they’ll make you renew if it’s close to expiring.

Ugh, I hope not! I’ll double-check. Thanks for the reminder!
Also, keep in mind there might be a small fee for the correction, and you may get a new card issued with the updated info.

Ah, OK. I’ll be ready for that. Thanks for the info!
I had to do the same thing! It was pretty quick to fix, but it does depend on how soon you notice the mistake.

Glad to hear it’s a quick fix! I just noticed, so I’m hoping it won’t take too long. Thanks!
