Hey everyone, I really need help. I’m mentally disabled, homeless, and got scammed by someone claiming to be in the army. I think I can prove it, but IDK what to do next. Does anyone know how to find a military lawyer? Any advice would be super appreciated.

JAG is short for Judge Advocate General. They’re the military’s legal team. They’d handle stuff like this.
Honestly, that sounds awful. Did you report this scam to the police yet? They might help too.

Totally worth a shot. Having a police report might even help when you talk to the JAG office.

I’m not 100% sure, but I have some messages and pictures that seem fishy. Hoping a lawyer can help figure it out.
