Hey all, I’m working on filling out DD Form 149 to request a discharge upgrade and have a few questions. I’ve already submitted the appeal, but I’m not sure about filling out certain sections correctly. Anyone who’s gone through this have some tips?

Exactly. If you can prove there was an error, they might correct it. No automatic upgrades.
For Question 14, only check the boxes if they directly relate to the issues involved in your case.

Makes sense. Just wasn’t sure if I should skip if they don’t apply.

Yeah, the more evidence, the better! Helps make your case clearer.
Don’t skip Sections 4, 5, or 6 just because you submitted the appeal already. Fill everything out just in case.
