What should I prepare for my meeting tomorrow?

Hey everyone, I had a breathalyzer test last Friday that came back at 0.049, but I’m still not on suspension, even though the policy says I should be. I worked from home on Monday and then went to the office Tuesday and Wednesday, including some meetings with my boss and the team. Today, I got a meeting invite for a one-on-one with my boss tomorrow. It feels like I should prepare for something, especially since he mentioned feedback on my performance last week. Anyone been in a similar situation? What should I expect from the meeting?

Sounds like a tricky situation. I’m surprised you’re still working after that test. Did your boss mention anything about it?

Nope, nothing at all. It’s like we’re just pretending it didn’t happen.

I’d definitely be prepared to discuss both your performance and the test results. It could be awkward.

Totally agree! Just keep calm and ask for clarity if they bring up the test.

Have you checked if they actually followed the policy? Maybe there’s a loophole?

Good point! If they didn’t suspend you, that might work in your favor later.

Yeah, I think it’s important to document everything. What if they try to terminate you?

For sure. I’d keep notes from the meeting just in case.

This sounds so confusing. If they didn’t notify your boss, does that mean he might not know anything?

Exactly, and that makes me even more nervous. What if he gets surprised in the meeting?
