The kids are enrolled in school now, and he’s at the courthouse filing for divorce. Once he gets a protection or custody order, the school will know she can’t pick them up. She’s still in Wisconsin.

I’ll keep you posted.
If you want to help him, you need to push him to file for custody now. Without a custody order, she can still leave with the kids. The court needs to know all about the boyfriend and his criminal history.
@Jackteagarden
Thanks!
You don’t have much say in this, unfortunately. He needs a lawyer and has to go to court. You can help him find one, but the rest is on him.

I know. I’m just trying to help him figure out what to do.
@Ellis
You’re a great sibling for caring so much, but it’s up to him. You can only help him find a lawyer. The rest is on him if he wants to keep his kids. I wish you both the best.

Thank you
First thing he needs to do is enroll the kids in school tomorrow. Then, get a lawyer and start filing for divorce.
He needs to take her to court before she tries to set up residency somewhere else.
