So I’m 18 and have a probationary license, but Instacart keeps saying my ID is invalid when I try to verify it. My license isn’t expired or anything, but it still won’t go through. Has anyone dealt with this? IDK what’s going on.
That’s super annoying. I’ve had similar issues before. Maybe try checking if the photo of your license is clear enough? Sometimes they get picky about that.

Yeah, I checked and everything looks fine in the photo. Still won’t work though.
Hmm… it could be the probationary status. Instacart might not accept those IDs because they’re temporary. If you can, try contacting support directly.

I thought that might be the case, but I don’t have another ID to try. I’ll reach out to support though, maybe they can help.
Try uploading a different document if you have one—like a passport or even your birth certificate. That should work if the license doesn’t.

I actually don’t have anything else on hand, just the probationary license. I’ll see what support says, though.
Sometimes the system rejects IDs for random reasons. You could try re-uploading it at a different time or after restarting the app.

Yeah, I’ll try that next time. Maybe the app was just glitching or something.
Not sure if this helps, but I had this issue once and I ended up using a photo of my ID in better lighting. The system seemed to reject the blurry ones.

Ooh, good idea. I’ll try taking the photo in a different light and see if that works. Thanks!
