Hey everyone! I recently moved within Texas and need to update my address on my driver’s license. I heard it’s supposed to be done within 30 days or something. Anyone know the steps to do it online?
Yeah, you can change your address online through the Texas DPS website. You’ll need your current license info, last 4 of your SSN, and a credit or debit card for the fee.

Awesome, thanks! Any idea how much the fee is?
@Jess
It’s $11. Not too bad, but definitely something to keep in mind!
Make sure you do it soon! I heard they give you a 30-day window after moving to avoid any hassles.

Good to know! I moved about 15 days ago, so I guess I’m still good.
Just a heads up, if you need to update anything with your bank or insurance too, this address change should match up with those. Makes life easier.

Oh yeah, I already did it for my bank and insurance. Thanks for the reminder!
If you have any trouble online, you can always go to the DMV. They can help you there too, but expect a wait!

Good to know, just in case! I’ll try online first and hope it works smoothly.
Yeah, the online process is super simple! Got mine updated in like 10 minutes last time.

That’s great to hear! I’ll give it a shot tonight. Thanks, everyone!
