Anyone know how to get help for an elderly neighbor?

Hey guys, I’m trying to help my elderly neighbor out with a problem. She needs some legal advice but doesn’t really know where to turn. Any ideas on who can help with stuff like that? Thanks!

I would reach out to local legal aid or see if there’s any free legal clinics in your area. Might be able to help her out.

Maybe call a lawyer’s office that specializes in elder law? They may be able to point you in the right direction for free or low-cost help.

Good idea! I didn’t know there were lawyers who specialize in elder law. I’ll give that a try.

If you’re in Florida, some counties offer assistance for seniors with legal issues. Could try checking out Columbia County’s resources.

Definitely check with her local county’s waste management department. They sometimes have other helpful community resources available.

Yeah, JustAnswer has a legal section. You can ask questions directly to lawyers, and they usually give pretty good advice.
