Anyone know how to handle a speeding ticket in Bryant, AR?

I got a speeding ticket on 10/9 for going 77 in a 60 zone. Honestly, I don’t think I was speeding that much. I’m a Nebraska resident and I need to figure out how to handle this before my court date on 11/13 at 9:00 AM in Saline County, Bryant, AR. The ticket was issued by State Police Troop A, Officer T. Stevenson. Anyone have tips or experience with this?

Ugh, that sucks. Did you get pulled over by an officer or was it a speed camera? Seems like that can change things a bit.

Did you have any speeding tickets in the past year? That might make a difference when it comes to how the case is handled.

I got a speeding ticket once in a similar situation. I’d recommend talking to a traffic lawyer before your court date. They might be able to help reduce the fine or even get the ticket dismissed.

Make sure you’re aware of any local traffic laws. Sometimes they’re more lenient or have different rules depending on where you’re at.

Just FYI, traffic tickets like this can sometimes be negotiated down, especially if it’s your first one. If you didn’t feel like you were speeding that much, it might be worth challenging it.
