I’m trying to find out what time my dad’s driving test is tomorrow at the Clairemont DMV facility. His name is C Horst. I don’t think he has any emails or documents about it. Anyone know how to find out? I called the DMV but couldn’t get through. Any ideas?
Hey, I had this same issue with my mom’s test. I think the best way is to call the DMV’s main customer service line. They should have the details for you, even without email or documents.

Yeah, I tried calling the main number but couldn’t get anyone on the line. Do you have the number by chance?
Maybe try visiting the Clairemont DMV in person? I know it’s a bit of a hassle, but if you can get there during business hours, they should be able to pull up the appointment info for you.

I’m thinking about that too. Not sure if they’ll be able to help me out though. I guess it’s worth a shot!
You could try setting up a MyDMV account for him if you haven’t already. That way, you can manage appointments and check confirmation times online. It could be helpful for next time too.

That sounds like a good idea for future appointments. I’ll look into setting that up. Thx!
The DMV usually operates from 8 AM to 5 PM, so if you’re able to visit in person, that’s when they’ll be open. Just bring an ID for your dad in case they need to look up the appointment.

Good to know! I’ll make sure to bring something with me if I have to go in person. Hopefully, they’ll help me out.
If you can’t get through, I’d also suggest calling the general number for California DMV at 1---****. That’s the line I used when I needed help with my own test. They were pretty quick to help!
