I updated my address with the DMV recently, but I just got a registration notice sent to my old address. IDK if something didn’t go through or if there’s another step I missed. Anyone know how to fix this?
That’s weird. Did you get any confirmation from the DMV when you changed it?

Yeah, I got a confirmation when I updated it, so I thought I was good. Not sure why my registration still went to the old address though…

Might be a delay in their system. Sometimes they don’t update everything at once. Maybe try calling them?
Did you update both your driver’s license and vehicle registration? They’re separate updates, so maybe one didn’t go through?

Oh wait, I only updated my license. Didn’t realize I had to do the registration separately. That might be it!

Yeah, that’s probably it. I made the same mistake before lol. You should be able to update it online or at the DMV office.
If the update didn’t process fully, your old address might still be in their system. Try checking your DMV account online?

Good idea. I’ll check and see if my registration info still has my old address.
How long ago did you update it? Sometimes changes take a few weeks to fully go through.

It’s been about a month, so I figured it should’ve updated by now.

Yeah, a month should be enough time. Definitely check your online DMV account or call them to make sure it’s actually updated.
If nothing else works, maybe forward your mail from your old address to your new one so you don’t miss anything important?

Not a bad idea. I’ll do that just in case this happens again.
