I agree with your attorney’s custody recommendation. Parental substance abuse IS child abuse.
Why would you willingly put your children that you claim to love in a horrible, unsafe situation?
Oh there’s no “claim to love” I absolutely love them and want the best for them. I can love them and also have compassion for their father/my ex-husband who I loved for 15 years.
