I recently discovered that the car I bought from a dealership was previously flooded, but they didn’t disclose this information to me. Has anyone else experienced this? What steps can I take to address this issue?

I would get in touch with a lawyer. As opposed to a private party transaction, I don’t think you have to prove that the dealer knew about the flood damage and chose not to report it. Check the regulations in your state. Given their assumed level of knowledge, the dealer ought to have been aware of the harm.

You need to collect your disclosure statements from the dealer, documents from the mechanic about the flood damage, and talk to a consumer rights or lemon law lawyer.
