Do I have a case number for my military service?

Hey, I’m trying to figure out if I have a case number. My service was with the USMC and it would’ve been about 10 to 15 years ago. My name is Robert **** and I’ve been looking for some info, but IDK where to start. Anyone have advice on how I can find out if I have a case number?

You might want to check with the office or agency that handled your military case. They should be able to pull up your info with your name and service details. If you have any paperwork from back then, that could help too.

Thanks! I don’t have much paperwork from back then, but I’ll try contacting them. Hopefully, they can help me track it down.

You could also try looking through old records with the USMC or ask if they can provide any past case numbers. Military records can sometimes be tricky, but they should be able to assist you.

I didn’t think about checking the records with them. I’ll reach out and see what they can do.

Do you remember if you ever worked with a legal team while you were in service? That might be a way to find your case number.

It might take a while, but you can also try looking through any old emails or messages that might reference a case number. Sometimes they send follow-up details that might help.

I’ll definitely check my old emails. Couldn’t hurt to look, right?

If all else fails, you could try reaching out to a military lawyer. They might have a better idea of where to search or how to find your case number.
