First traffic ticket at 75... is my court time 7:30 a.m.?

I received my first ever traffic ticket at 75 years old, and the ticket says I need to appear in court on 2/24/2025 at 0730. Is that 7:30 a.m.? I’m just confused because I’ve never dealt with anything like this before.

Yep, 0730 is 7:30 a.m. That’s military time. So you’ll need to be at court that morning, not afternoon.

I know it’s a bit confusing when you’re not used to military time. But yeah, 0730 is definitely early in the morning. You’ll want to get there before 7:30 to be safe.

Just FYI, in case you’re wondering, that means you’ll be showing up at the crack of dawn, so make sure you plan your morning around it. Hope everything goes smoothly for you!

It’s totally normal to be confused with the time format at first. Don’t stress, just make sure you’re there at 7:30 a.m. sharp. And remember, it’s your first ticket, so hopefully, it won’t be too bad.

I’m hoping it’ll be a small fine or something. I’ve been driving forever, and this is the first ticket I’ve gotten!
