I applied for a replacement driver’s license back in September, but still haven’t received it. My temporary license expired in October. We had to change addresses because of some poor USPS service, so my mail now goes to my business address. I updated my address with the DMV, but I’m still not sure what’s going on with the replacement. Anyone else dealt with this?
I’ve had similar issues with the DMV before, but it’s usually just a matter of waiting. Have you checked if they’ve processed your address update yet?

Yeah, I confirmed my address was updated, but still nothing from them. It’s so frustrating!
That’s rough. If you’ve emailed them, maybe try calling instead? Sometimes that gets quicker results.

I haven’t tried calling yet, good idea! I’ll give that a go. Thanks!
It could just be a delay with the DMV or USPS. It can take a while for them to process everything. Did you try to reach out to them after your temporary license expired?

Yeah, I emailed them, but didn’t get a response. So annoying…
I think there’s a lot of delays right now with DMV stuff, especially with address changes. Maybe check in with them again?

I might do that. It’s just frustrating because my temp license expired and now I’m stuck waiting.
I’d suggest contacting the DMV’s customer service again and explaining your situation. Sometimes they’ll escalate things if you keep following up.

Thanks! I’ll definitely follow up with them again. Fingers crossed it gets sorted soon!
