I need help getting a copy of my disability confirmation letter for my insurance company. I had it before, but now I can’t find it anywhere in my records. Any ideas on how to get another copy?
Sounds like a hassle. Have you checked if you can get a copy from the Social Security office?

Yeah, I think it was from the Social Security office. Just not sure how to go about getting it again.
@Ellington
You can contact them directly. They usually have a process for replacing letters.
If you have a My Social Security account, you might be able to request a replacement letter online.

I’ll have to check that out. I wasn’t aware I could do it online.
You can also call the SSA toll-free number if you need help. They should be able to guide you through the process.

Thanks for the info! I’ll give them a call if I can’t get it online.
Make sure to have your details handy when you contact them, like your SSN and any info about your previous letter.

Good tip! I’ll gather all that before I reach out.
I had a similar issue, and they were really helpful when I called. Don’t hesitate to ask them for what you need.

That’s reassuring to hear. I hope it goes as smoothly for me too.
