I am interested in knowing what the community thinks the best criminal defense lawyers are paid these days. I have heard they can get very expensive, but I am not sure if that is only the case in high-profile cases or if the most in-demand attorneys in this area are usually able to command premium fees. How have you, as a client or someone acquainted with the legal field, experienced it? I am interested in this field and am considering attending law school, so any information on the income potential would be very appreciated.
