I’m a retired veteran, 66 years old, and I’d like to apply for my benefits in person. I live in Virginia Beach, VA. Where can I find an office to do this? Any advice on how to start the process?
You should check out the local Veteran’s Services Office. They can help with things like healthcare, pensions, and disability claims.

Thanks! Do you know the address or contact info for the Virginia Beach office?

Yeah, the address is 2509 Nimmo Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. Their phone number is (###) ###-####.
You can also try the Virginia Department of Veterans Services in Norfolk. It’s another option if the Virginia Beach office doesn’t work for you.

Oh, good to know. Do you happen to have their contact details?

Sure thing! They’re at **** #100, Norfolk, VA 23502. Their number is (###) ###-####.
FYI, you can apply online too, but in-person is probably better for detailed help.

Yeah, I feel like in-person might be easier. I’m not the best with online forms lol.
Make sure to bring all your documents, like your DD-214 and any medical records. It’ll speed things up.

Got it. Thanks for the heads-up! Anything else I should bring?

A photo ID and proof of residency can be helpful too. Better to have more than less!
Not sure if you already know, but VA benefits cover a lot more than people think. Don’t forget to ask about all the services you’re eligible for.

Good point! I’ll make sure to ask about everything. Thanks for the tip.
