So, long story short, my baby mother took our child out of state after vandalizing her uncle’s car and refuses to tell me where they are. She’s even threatened me, saying I’ll be shot if I show up, but then demands sex and nudes just to see our baby. I haven’t seen my child in 2 months, and her family won’t give me any info. I have all the screenshots of her harassment and years of abuse. I really don’t know how to serve her or get anyone on my side.
Any private investigator can find her address. She’s not DB Cooper—they’ll find her.

That sounds like a solid plan! Getting a PI might be the quickest way to track her down.
Don’t send any pics—she’ll use them against you later. You need to get to court ASAP. Find a way to have her served, and if you can prove what she’s doing, it might work in your favor.

Yeah, definitely don’t give her any leverage. Focus on getting to court.
You really need to get a lawyer and file for custody. This could turn messy, and you might get accused of things. Just communicate about wanting to see your child and ignore her demands.

Good advice! A court order can help a lot in situations like this.
You need to file for an emergency order of protection and/or custody right away. The court needs to be involved. Depending on your state, an EOP might help you get your child back. Don’t wait!

Exactly! Time is critical here. Get moving on that.
Is there an existing custody order?

No, CPS was involved earlier, but my previous emergency case got dropped.
Go open a case NOW. She can file for full custody if you wait too long. You don’t need her exact address to start this.
