Sun Pass charging tolls based on a license plate we don’t have... anyone dealt with this?

I’m having this issue with Sun Pass where they’re charging us for tolls based on a license plate we don’t even have, but maybe did in the past? Not sure how to prove it’s not ours. Anyone know how to handle this situation?

That sounds super frustrating. Did you check if the plate number is still active somewhere? Maybe the old plate got linked by mistake.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. It could be a mix-up with the system.

IDK, maybe contacting customer service could clear this up. They might be able to track the plate’s history.

No way, that’s weird. How do you even prove you don’t own a license plate? Never thought about that… might need legal advice for something like this.

I feel you. It’s gotta be tough proving a negative. But maybe they have a record showing when the plate was last registered to you.

Yeah, if you have any records from when you sold or got rid of the plate, that could help, even if you don’t have official documents.

This sounds like it could be a tech issue on their end. If it’s from a while ago, could be hard to trace. If you can’t find any docs, I’d try online chat with their support.

True. They might have a way to look it up through their system without you needing to dig up old paperwork.

Exactly. I’d also recommend just calling in. They’ll probably have more info than just the website.

Hmmm, maybe they can check their logs? There might be a timestamp or something showing when the charges were linked to your account.

Anyone know if there’s a way to formally dispute tolls without all that extra paperwork? I just wanna get this fixed without jumping through too many hoops…

IDK, but I’d try calling customer service first. They might have a faster process to verify stuff like this.

Maybe you can even do it all online? If they have a portal for disputes, it could save time.
