So, it looks like the Supreme Court allowed Virginia to go ahead and remove people from voter rolls, even after early voting had already started. What do people here think about this?
It’s absolutely wild to let them clean up voter rolls after early and mail-in voting is already happening. This feels like a huge mess waiting to happen.

If you really look at the court, it’s just an extension of the Republican party. They have a clear reason to tip the scales for their side because they can’t win without these moves.
@Rowan
And what’s frustrating is that nobody seems to have any power to stop it…

This conservative majority on the Court seems fine with tossing out or rewriting laws they disagree with. They invalidated parts of federal law here just because they felt like it.

We can all thank the folks who didn’t show up to vote in 2016 for this mess.
@Harlem
Yeah, because living in the past is so productive… just like Trump.

Lame comeback.
I already cast my vote… does this mean it could be canceled?

If you’re one of the 1,600 people they purged, it’s possible.

Well, did you vote for the candidate they’re favoring?

Double-check your registration, just to be safe.
Remember when the courts were actually a check on government power? Feels like a long time ago.
