What department should I contact about a ticket I just got?

I just got a ticket and I’m not sure who to contact about it. I think I need to talk to the Office for Financial Responsibility… anyone know where I should go for this?

If it’s a traffic citation, you’ll probably need to contact the court first. That’s usually the starting point.

Yep, that’s right. They’ll guide you from there. Make sure to ask about any fines or options for handling it.

Same thing happened to me, and I was told to contact the traffic division directly. It might help to mention that it was a city citation.

Yeah, if it’s a city ticket, the court will usually be your go-to. You can also check if they have an online portal to handle things faster.
