Hello guys! parent alienation is a strategy which one parent intentionally displays to the child unjustified negativity aimed at the other parent and the purpose of this strategy is to damage the child’s relationship with the other parent and to turn the child’s emotions against that other parent.
I can relate to that struggle. Balancing validating my clients’ feelings while challenging their beliefs about the alienated parent is tough, especially when communication is limited to what I hear from them and their custodial parent. I recently came across a helpful podcast on parental alienation that might interest you. You can find it by searching ‘parental alienation podcast’. It offers valuable insights.
